eHealth Young Innovators Program: eHealth Summer Camps

eHealth Summer Camp Postcard

Be a part of this exciting opportunity to explore how technology interacts with health care!

The eHealth Summer Camp is designed to give students in grades 10-12 an introduction to eHealth, health technology and the future of health care. Campers will create eHealth mobile applications mentored by UBC staff and health informatics students. Hands-on time with smartphones, iPads, and mobile health apps will provide campers an opportunity to experiment directly with health care technology. There will be visits to innovative health care centres where they will tour “behind-the scenes” in a hospital and the TELUS Innovation Centre. Each day will include 30 minutes of physical activity and a nutritious lunch. A career day with a variety of health professionals, UBC faculty and graduate students will allow campers to discuss different careers and explore courses leading to these professions.
